I need to be honest. You annoyed me so much with this analysis. I think your arguments are flawed and there is a measure of incoherence (from my perspective) however there was a cerebral approach to the presentation so I could not stop looking. I am a man who enjoys men, masculinity encased in a male body. I also like women, femininity encased in a female body. I am no way attracted to the mixing of those factors. For me the physical aspect is most important but the behavioral aspect must also be present or else I am turned off. I do advocate as you have done in this video that men should explore and understand what they like and perhaps why they like it.

I have subscribed, although I honestly think you overthink the situation. I knew I was only attracted to males before I was old enough to know what sex was, at about 8. That has never wavered. Gentleness and vulnerability are both fine however, in fact, those are pluses to me - but, I'm going to be completely honest here - the female body disgusts me utterly. *shrug* Now, to be fair, I'm somewhat rare, I'm NOT promiscuous, I've never been drunk, used drugs of any form other than prescribed medicines and never even experimented with tobacco in my more than 60 years on this plane. I've had three relationships in my life, one when I was in my teens and early 20s, one that endured for decades, but ended, and now a May/December relationship with a wonderful sweet young man with whom I share many values - desiring to care for the poor, to help those in poverty, both in his country and my own, wanting to give it forward as it were. He is gentle, sweet, kind, but definitely a guy - however, as he is South Asian I'm not sure how many Americans would see him on that issue. I don't care, he is my heart - and yes, we also spend a lot of time being intimate. I feel like I'm a very lucky man and I don't have to analyze it, just live it, love him and enjoy our life together. Isn't that more important? To me it is.

Truth. But a lot won't want to hear about this. I wonder if this is why gay men love supporting "strong" women. I'm attracted to masculinity. Men. And their bodies. Leadership. Aggressiveness. Power. Control. I'm attracted to it all. But I also find that I do find some women attractive. Usually more natural badass take charge women. I wouldn't be against having sex with women but I feel like I'm more comfortable with guys (romantically and sexually) because that's what I'm use to. I'm also shy and passive and women don't usually find that quality in a man attractive. I feel like when I was younger, I was more into both but due to my childhood upbringing (bullied, abused, etc.) with being in the "closet" and not being confident with who I was and shy etc. kind of resulted in me repressing the heterosexual side because I was always thinking there was something wrong with me. I did try dating women at one point but a lot of them didn't like the honesty of me being "bi". They didn't want to give me a chance so I didn't bother. And by then, I had experience with men than women so was just naturally more comfortable with men. It is amazing how black and white everyone treats sexuality when it really is much more complicated. I have always been friends with straight men however I’ll always say… 99% of my male friend issues stem from They think they are capable of understanding/judging me with little to no consideration how different I am.
